Brian S. Anderson J.D.

President and Director of the Managing Partner

Mr. Anderson has over thirteen years of experience in the oil, gas & real property industries in various leadership roles. Mr. Anderson has a diverse educational and employment background that makes him a well-rounded asset to MPG. After earning his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Tulsa College Of Law in May 1997, where he earned certificates in Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law and International Law, he also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in August 2000 and is currently finishing up an M.A. in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Anderson began his career after law school with ParaGeoTek, Inc, an oil & gas consultancy firm, where he gained a solid foundation in the oil & gas land and legal area. Before his involvement with MPG, Mr. Anderson held a senior land title manager position with a prime federal contractor for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Mr. Anderson joined MPG in 2007 as head of the Land Department and was promoted the following year to COO/Senior Vice President. In this capacity Mr. Anderson oversaw the day to day operations of MPG from field operations to personnel. In December 2009, Mr. Anderson was appointed to the position of President by the Board of Directors of MPG. Mr. Anderson lives with his wife and daughter in McKinney, Texas.
